Saeed Abu Alhasan is a social entrepreneur who is passionate about improving the quality of life for the youth. He has been active in the fields of youth, volunteerism, and social Innovation since 2008.

After he graduated from Yarmouk University as a designer in 2010, he decided not to take the traditional route to employment and instead follow his passion. He founded a non-profit organization called “Shams Community. “Shams” (Arabic for “sun”) Through Shams, he created a shared community that worked on connecting, inspiring and engaging people in a dialogue about their lives and the communities that they live in, for the betterment of the world.

His belief in the unlimited power of education guided him In March 2015 to join Amani Institute to study Social Innovation Management to improve his skills and increase his knowledge in social innovation.

Saeed enjoys cooking, hiking, and bringing people together , and what motivates him is his passion for working with youth and helping them live their dreams and building a better place to call home.
